CHANDIGARH: Brahm Mohindra Health & Family Welfare Minister Punjab today handed over appointment letter to 282 staff nurses, 11 epidemiologists and 14 microbiologists in a function held at training institute phase 6 Mohali. He also flagged off 5 IEC publicity vans to generate awareness to check dengue.
Health Minister in his keynote address said that the Congress Government under the dynamic leader ship of Captain Amarinder Singh has made promise to the public to provide job in every house hold. He exhorted the newly appointed staff nurses and other staff to work diligently and with full sincerity to provide quality health services to the needy citizen of the State. He said that we are hopeful that with the appointment of these staff nurses, epidemiologists and microbiologists, the health delivery system would witnessed improvement and quality health services can be ensured to the public.
Brahm Mohindra also flagged off 5 IEC publicity vans on the occasion which would be visiting every nook and corner of the State to generate awareness among the public regarding the spread of dengue and preventing measures to check its outbreak.
