I knew you were hungery… But you yeamd not for food but the blood of the anemy i knew you were tierd… Bt your legs had that extra energy that separated the braves from the ordinary. I knew you needed rest… Bt you could rest only when the enemy was thrown across the LOC. I knew, i knew you well… I knw you longed for victory – only total and absolute victory…
Remembering the martyrs and bowing to them…
Today the gallant officers JCO and all jawans of the present 1/11 Gurkha Rifle paid homage remembering their forefathers, after the homage also took blessings from Maa Durga. The present commanding officer of 11 Gurkha Rifles Col. Abhilash KM and Adjutant, Lieutenant Ramandeep Singh congratulated the past and present soldiers of the platoon.
Remembering their forefathers, they were inspired to remember the martyrdoms of their brave warriors and take guidance from their lives. One of the 11 Gorakh Rifles was awarded the title of ‘The Bravest of the Brave’ for their bravery and valor on ‘Batalik Divas’. On this occasion, the commanding officer honored the veteran soldiers of the current platoon areas and encouraged the youth for Agniveer and officer cadre.
