MATHURA: Living in Vrindavan for 24 years, a Canadian national has been arrested for allegedly using forged documents, said the police on Wednesday.
Following input from a reliable source, 55-year-old Rayan Edward Glad Stone was arrested near ISKCON on Tuesday evening by the Vrindavan Police and LIU (Local Intelligence Unit), said SP City Shravan Kumar Singh.
The SP further added that Stone was living in Vrindavan with forged documents.
After the arrest of 55-year-old Rayan, he handed over a forged document which was prepared by an advocate, showing his other address in Haryana, SP City Shravan Kumar said.
The police official said, “He was booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the foreign national act. He was being interrogated by IB and Local Intelligence Unit.”
