Chandigarh – Chandigarh Territorial Youth Congress today organised a candle light march led by H S Lucky, President , Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee, Deepa Dubey ,President , Mahila Congress, Manoj Lobana, President, Chandigarh Youth Congress at Sukhna Lake Chandigarh in solidarity with International Olympic players who are protesting against President of wrestling federation of India Brij Bhushan who also happens to be MP from BJP.The protestors carried placards in their hands and raised slogans against the government for its delay in delivering justice.
Speaking on the occasion, H S Lucky demanded immediate removal of the President of the wrestling federation. He said that the players who brought laurels to the country are now forced to sit in cold weather to seek justice which is shameful.
Manoj lobana said the youth of the country stands in solidarity with the international players and will keep on protesting till justice is delivered.
He said that the Modi government which leaves no opportunity to share pictures with the international players are running away from the issue like cowards.Youth Congress activists said that the situation is something equal to ‘justice delayed is justice denied.’
