Chandigarh: Punjab assembly elections 2022 are going today. Voting will start at 8:00am in 117 constituency. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi paid home paid obeisance at Gurudwara Sri Katalgarh Sahib. On this occasion, Channi said It’s all about the wish of people of Punjab who they would choose. CM Channi also said that we did all the efforts.

Voting will continue till 6:00pm. According to the instructions of the Election Commission, all arrangements have been made by the administration to conduct the elections in a peaceful manner. There are more than 2 crore voters in Punjab and 1307 candidates whom luck will be closed in EVMs. Among these candidates, 1209 are male, 93 female and 2 are third gender candidates.
