Chandigarh – Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has proved that he is a son of Punjab after he ordered the shut down the Zira Liquor Factory in public interest.
In it’s tweet posted along with video, Punjab Agriculture and Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal thanked the Chief Minister for taking the historic decision to close the Zira factory. “Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has once again proved that he is the true protector of Punjab and Punjabis,” he said.
S. Dhaliwal said that he had gone at a protesting site in Zira on December 17, 2022, to convey the message of the Chief Minister, who had assured to take strict action by following the legal process within a month. He said that on the completion of one month today, a historic decision has been taken to save the land and agriculture of Punjab.
The Cabinet Minister said that those polluting the air and water of Punjab will not be spared at any cost. He said that the Chief Minister himself belongs to a farming family and is a person who loves Punjab. He said that it is an honour to be a part of Bhagwant Mann’s cabinet.
