-Participants from eight northern states including Punjab will take part
CHANDIGARH: The Election Commission of India will organize Regional Workshop on Cyber Security on 13th June, 2018 in Chandigarh to sensitize its officers about security measures and securing data.
An official spokesperson of the Election Commission said that in this workshop, eight state of northern India will participate. Divulging further, he said that all the Chief Electoral Officers of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Rajasthan will take part, while Deputy Commissioner and officers of Technical Wing of election staff of five districts of each state will participate. He said that workshop will be held in two sessions, in which all Additional Deputy Commissioners and EROs/AEROs of all the assembly constituencies of the state of Punjab will also participate.
During this workshop, experts from different organizations of the country and professionals in information technology will share their expertise and views on different issues.
