Chandigarh: Punjab Education Minister Mr. Om Prakash Soni visited Government schools in the border area. During this visit, he examined mid-day meal, uniforms of students, teacher attendance, study material and furniture.
During this visit, students told Education Minister that the staff timely providing food to them. He also inquired about the quality and distribution of uniforms, on which the students told that they are receiving uniforms on time.
Mr. Soni while addressing the teachers said that they should imbibe them with latest teaching methods so that they should be capable to educate the children in a better way and students of government schools being able to survive in this competitive world. He instructed the teachers to be more focused on their goals and ensure good results of their schools.
Education Minister said that the teachers should also emphasize on the physical development of children. He instructed the physical education teachers to ensure the participation of each student in sports so that good players coming out from government schools.
