Muscat/Oman: The Indian women’s hockey team has climbed to the top of the points table after winning the second consecutive matchp in the FIH Pro League. Despite the absence of Savita Punia, the Indian team performed brilliantly and thrashed their rivals China 2-1.

This is Team India’s second consecutive win against China. As per the information, this match was played on Tuesday at the Sultan Qaboos Complex in Muscat. The Indian team defeated China once again with the help of two goals from Gurjit Kaur.

Gurjit Kaur scored the first goal for India. She easily converted a penalty corner in the third minute to give the team an early lead. However, in the third quarter, China equalized India’s score with the help of a goal from Wang Shumin.
