An FIR was filed against unknown persons by the Chandigarh Police for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines during the ceremony wherein Navjot Singh Sidhu took charge as Punjab Congress chief on Friday.

Police said the people came from different Punjab districts and assembled at Punjab Congress Bhawan. They allegedly didn’t wear masks or maintain social distancing, police said.
