Newsdesk – Four people are reported dead in a multiple scenes shooting by a man in Ohio neighbourhood. The assailant hunt is ordered at once after the incident, the police said.

Police in Montgomery Country’s Butler Township said officers were called to the area immediately after the shots were fired.

Butler Township Chief John Porter said four victims with gunshot wounds were found at multiple crime scenes and all were declared dead on the spot. Police said they are looking out for the man who has fled away from the scenes after commiting the crime. He is believed to be runaway on a sports utility vehicle.

Police have made an announcement and warned people not to call or go near the assailant if seen as he might be loaded with arms and ammunition and its dangerous. Police have asked people to dial at 911 to inform the police if the ‘man of interest’ is spoted.

Butler Township Chief Porter said they donot think there is any threat to the neighbourhood area now but police would remain there for the security purpose. Porter further told that the names of victims are yet not disclosed and even it could not be ascertained why the shooting was being carried out by the man in question.

The police official said they are working upon to find out the exact reason of the shooting incident and also trying to search out if the assailant is having some mental illiness. He called the shooting incident is first happening in this neighbourhood in recent memories.

Police said they have intiated search operation for Stephen Marlow, a 39 year man who is wanted in connection to this happening.

The FBI said the suspect Marlow has connects in Chicago, Indianapolis, Kentucky and Lexington.  So , the investigative agency is keeping an eye on these places too.

Police said the suspect is 5 feet 11 inches in height with brown hair and around 160 pounds. He was wearing shorts and yellow Tee Shirt and he fled in a white Ford Edge. According to inputs , Butler township is a town of around 8000 residents around 9 miles north of Dayton.
