Morrison met with the National Security Council. After the meeting Morrison said that ‘It has been almost two years, when we took a decision to close borders.’ Scott Morrison announced that Australia’s borders will open for all visa holders from February 21 of this year.
Prime Minister also said that ‘If visa holders have got both vaccines, then we are ready to welcome visa holders again in Australia.’ Australia closed its borders in March 2020 to prevent from epidemic. Since then, the people of Australia have been banned from going outside the country and very few people were allowed to enter the country.
