Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday announced that the GST Council has decided to reduce the GST on drugs used to treat cancer from 12% to 5%.

The Finance Minister also said that the GST Council decided to extend the concessional rates on drugs used for COVID-19 treatment till December 31, 2021.
