Newsdesk – Canada Environment forecast warning indicates 15 cm of heavy snowfall expected this week in Southern Ontario regions like  Mississauga , Brampton,  Hamilton, Oshawa and Halton.

As per warning issued heavy rainfall expected to cover the region from Hamilton to all the way to Oshawa , motorcyclists are given advisory that not to travel if not necessary on Thursday night and Monday morning due to reduced visibility.

In the Peel region, Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon are expected to be hit with around 10 cm of snow. The regions could also observe winds as strong as 70 km/h, especially near lake Ontario.

The heaviest rainfall is expected in Durham, Oshawa, Pickering as it cold reach to 15 cm. In the Halton region , Halton Hills, Milton , Burlington,  Oakville, Halton region are expected to see snowfall but not heavy. It is predicted to be measured around 5 cm. However, the region could face some of the hardest winds at speed of around 80 km/hr. The forecast further says snowfall in the region is expected to slow down by Thursday night.

Warnings have also been issued for Barrie, Lagoon City, Collingwood, Hillsdale Midland, Coldwater, Orr Lake Orillia and Washago.
