Noida: The Income Tax department’s Delhi Investigation Unit raided Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Group’s various locations in Delhi-Noida on Thursday morning.
Nearly 300 officers were involved in the operation that started at 7:35 am.
According to information received, around 6 in the morning on Thursday morning, the teams of departments reached Noida for raids.
They were provided with armed security force by the UP police.
After this, the teams raided Sector 16-A film city, Sector 28 and Phase 2 industrial area.
Apart from this, a team also raided a house built in Greater Kailash Part-2 (Delhi).
The film city has two studios and one main office of the T-Series group.
In Sector 28, the company has a manager’s flat, while the company’s warehouse in Phase 2.
Departmental officials took all the mobile phones in their possession and all the doors were shut to block them from moving outside when they started proceeding.
After this, the work of collecting files, jewelery, cash and other things by one side of all the officials was carried out.
In the evening, the T-Series Group’s office and fourth-class employees working in the studio were allowed to leave.
Late evening, food was fetched for all the officers and employees involved in the raids.
According to the sources, statistics of several cabinets and files have not been received so that the raid could also go on for long.
