New Delhi – International passengers flying to India will not longer require to submit Air suvidha form at the arrival from midnight today i.e November 22 onwards Government of India has issued a fresh notice regarding the announcement giving relaxation monitoring declining effects of Covid-19.
Air Suvidha is self declaration form which was introduced as introduced as Covid prevention measure. It was meant to track contacts under Covid-19. It was a contactless method adopted by Ministry of civil aviation and department of health.
The Civil Aviation Ministry has issued a notice this evening which read ” In the light of sustained declining COVID-19 trajectory and significant advances being made in COVID-19 vaccination coverage both globally as well as in India, the ministry of Health & Family Welfare has issued revised ‘Guidelines for International Arrivals”.
Earlier, the travellers, on arrival, in had to fill Air Suvidha form. The Aviation Ministry announced relaxation in wearing masks but said it would be better if passengers preferably wear them.
As per last guidelines by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Air passengers be preferably fully vaccinated as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination against Covid-19. Then, passengers had to undergo thermal screening by health officials and by then they had to maintain physical distancing.
The passengers who were found symptomatic during screening were put in isolation immediately and under medical supervision. Further, the Health Ministry said the passengers must self monitor their health post arrival.
