Rajsthan – The Indian Airforce fighter jet MIG – 21 crashes near Barmer district in Rajsthan on Thursday at around 9pm as per latest reports.
As per PTI News agency ” It was an IAF plane that crashed near Bhimda village in Baytoo,” Barmer District Collector Lok Bandu.”
According to information , the aircraft was on night flying sortie. Both the pilots have lost their lives in the aircrash. It was two seater MIG 21 trainer aircraft.
The IAF has inquired court inquiry of the incident. MIG 21 bought from Soviet should have been retired long back and these have the high crash rate over the years.
