The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the monsoon in Delhi will be delayed by 7-10 days. “There is no monsoon activity over west UP now.
There is a low-pressure area in the westerlies…affecting the easterly wind flow,” Kuldeep Srivastava, Head of IMD’s Regional Weather Forecasting Centre, said. “Monsoon winds are reaching only up to east UP,” he added.
