As per the caste system prevailing in the country grandmother of the famous actor Nawazuddin Siddqui was from a ‘lower caste’ and till date his family has not been accepted by the residents of his native village. Disclosing this during an interview with a national news channel the dedicated actor said that his fame does not matter to the people those are still entangled in the caste system and he faces caste based discrimination.

Actually, this actor is staying at his native village since the imposition of the nation wide lockdown in the wake of covid-19 pandemic. Further expressing Mr. Siddqui said that they are indulged in caste system up to such an extent that they feel proud in caste based discrimination.

Nawazuddin is among those actors of the Indian film industry who have faced extreme hardships in personal and professional life before tasting the success in acting carrier.  Such discriminations act as nudging for such a gem of film industry. Nawazuddin is currently seen playing a devious Dalit man in Sudhir Mishra’s film Serious Men.
