In his Independence Day eve speech on Saturday, President Ram Nath Kovind said the new Parliament building is a matter of great pride for Indians.
He added it’s more than symbolic that the building will be inaugurated in the 75th year of independence. He also called Parliament the temple of democracy which provides a forum to discuss people related issues.
