Ludhiana, May 15: COVID-19 has hit the world and put everything on standstill. Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT), Ludhiana, during these tough times being faced by the Academic Arena is trying to provide the best to it’s students.
For the benefit of students, NIIFT organised a WEBINAR on, ‘Inspiration and Impact of Art on Fashion’. Leading designer Mr Gaurang Shah shared his journey to success. The webinar was coordinated by Ms Rajwinder Kaur HOD, Fashion Design Deptt. More than hundred students and faculty members across the country participated and interacted with Gaurang Shah. The designer shared his experience regarding ” How art influenced him to create a fusion of paintings and textiles in his creative works”? The designer also guided the students and advised them as to how to establish themselves in the designer Industry.
Ms Rajwinder Kaur stated that under the guidance of Mr Mahesh Khanna General Manager, Industrial and Centre- in-Charge, NIIFT, the Institute always strives to organise such interactive sessions for the students to provide them such opportunities so that they can make their vision clear in design.
