Canada Post employees are holding picket signs instead of carrying Calgary mail.
According to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Calgary was named as the next location for the rotating strike on Wednesday, with workers walking off the job at 6 p.m. MT.

After the negotiators failed to reach an agreement before the strike’s deadline, the rotating strikes began.
The 24-hour strikes started at midnight on Monday in Victoria, Windsor and Edmonton, and around 1 a.m. in Halifax.
Canada Post will not collect or distribute mail and parcels in the affected areas during the strike, the union said in a statement.
The CUPW is asking for job security, increased wages, an end to forced overtime, improved benefits of better health and safety measures.
While according to Canada Post, it has made considerable offers to CUPW (Canadian Union of Postal Workers).
The union represents over 54,000 employees Canada-wide in the delivery, postal, logistics and transportation and communication sectors.
