Pakistan has invited Sikh communities in Britain, Canada and the United States to consider investing in the proposed Guru Nanak Expressway.

Federal Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan made the appeal during a National Highway Authority meeting. He said the road would be developed to international standards and would improve access to locations carrying religious, historical and spiritual importance for Sikhs.

The announcement remains at the proposal and investment-outreach stage. Authorities have not disclosed a final construction schedule, project cost or confirmed financial commitments from overseas Sikh investors.
