In a display of extreme negligence and gross irresponsibility, a Panchkula based pathology lab on Tuesday shared with the District Administration week-old cumulative details of 663 COVID 19 positive cases of SAS Nagar.
Taken aback by extreme callousness of the Lab, Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan said, “isolation and contact tracing of these positive patients has not happened due to non-communication of daily report; they may have spread the virus to hundreds of others. Most stringent action in the book must be taken against those responsible for utter negligence.”
“I have written to Deputy Commissioner Panchkula, conveyed my displeasure and have sought suitable action against the All About Lab – AAL Research and Solution Private Limited, Panchkula,” said Dayalan.

18th April-1 case
20th April-101 cases
21st April-107 cases
22nd April- 123 cases
23rd April- 126 cases
24th April-135 cases
25th April-70 cases

The Deputy Commissioner said that we hope symptomatic patients have observed self restraint and remained indoors. In the meanwhile, as a damage control measure we will conduct exhaustive contact tracing so that we may check the further spread of virus.
