Over 1,000 people crowded the village of KwaHlathi in South Africa on Monday in search of what they believed to be diamonds after unidentified stones were found in the area.
The mines department said it’ll send experts to the site to conduct an analysis. Some people reportedly started selling the stones at starting price of 100-300 rand (₹530-₹1,600).
