Chandigarh / Gujarat – Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the last rites of his mother at crematorium in Gandhinagar along with his brothers.
PM Modi reached Gandhinagar early morning for the procession. It is mentionable , Heeraben Modi who was admitted in UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research centre at Ahmedabad last week due to health issues died at the age of 100. Somabhai Modi and other family members were present at the residence of Heeraben Modi.
President Draupadi Murmur , Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and leaders cutting across the partylines condoled PM’s mother death.
The leaders of number of countries have sent condolence messages to the Prime Minister.
