Employees of Punjab Scheduled Casts Land Development & Finance Corporation on Thursday have decided to donate their one-day salary into Chief Minister Covid-19 relief fund.

Divulging the details, Chairman Engineer Mohan Lal Sood said that donating a day’s salary, the employees have contributed more than Rs. 2.23 Lakh in the relief fund. Mr. Sood further added that the employees of the corporation have always been on the front foot in discharge of their social responsibilities.

Last year during floods, the employees also had contributed Rs. one Lakh to the Chief Minister Relief fund.
Expressing his thanks to the noble gestures of the employees, the Chairman further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh Punjab has become the first state in the state to impose curfew to many save precious lives here in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr. Sood called upon people to cooperate in this fight against Corona Virus by maintaining social distancing and staying back at home during curfew period.
