Rohtak: Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving a sentence in the rape and murder case, has got a furlough of 3 weeks. Ram Rahim came out of jail today. Before the Punjab elections (Punjab Election 2022), many political meanings are being taken out of this furlough given to Ram Rahim.

Rape convict Ram Rahim is lodged in Rohtak’s Sunaria jail since 25 August 2017. Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim got 21 days furlough due to mother’s illness. He was sentenced to 10 years for raping two sadhvis and life imprisonment in the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati.
