Today Employment agitators protested against the government by frying pakoras in Nandnagri
Progressive fast continues in Delhi’s Nandnagri for implementation of National Employment Policy on the third day of the employment movement.
New Delhi: Today, while addressing the agitators on the third day of the employment movement, Shri Gopal Rai stated On August 21, the Sanyukt Rojgar Andolan Samiti will organize Rozgar Sansad at the site of the movement, in which MPs of many parties and leaders of organizations will be involved. On the third day of the employment movement, gradual fast continues in Nandnagri, Delhi by the protesters for the implementation of the National Employment Policy. Today employment agitators are protesting against the central government by frying pakoras at the venue.
Delhi’s cabinet minister and founder of Desh Ki Baat Foundation, Shri Gopal Rai said, “The ongoing movement to implement the National Employment Policy enters its third day today. After the police stopped the Tiranga padyatra, which began on August 16 at Gokalpuri, Delhi, representatives from around the nation have been sitting on a gradual fast against the central government for the past two days. We disagree completely with this situation and the Central Government’s refusal to execute the National Employment Policy. That is why today our representatives from 21 states are protesting against the central government by frying pakoras.”
He further informed, “The government is not making the kind of better efforts that are required to solve the unemployment issue, which has now emerged as the biggest issue facing the nation. India’s unemployment rate currently stands at a high 7.6 percent. In light of the nation’s rising unemployment rate, today all employment movement representatives want to send a message by frying pakoras: if the National Employment Policy is not put into action as soon as possible, the situation of the youth in the nation will be similar.”
Shri Gopal Rai said, “Employment and industry centric programs of the Central Government have lost their hold in the country today and are submerged under making pakodas. Today’s youth’s fundamental right to employment makes the National Employment Policy crucial to the development of the nation’s young as a whole. If this is not taken care of, then there will always be a crisis of unemployment in front of the youth and students with technical education and they will also be forced to fry pakoras only.”
Shri Gopal Rai has urged the Central Government to grant the Sanyukt Rojgar Andolan Samiti representative some time as soon as possible so that they can give him the draft of the National Employment Policy that the Desh Ki Baat Foundation has created. The central government ought to pass it as soon as feasible after making any necessary amendments. The goal of this movement is to help the government rather than oppose it so that a national employment policy may be created for the country’s youth and thousands of young people can find employment.
Shri Rai said, “According to the government’s data for the past seven years, which were presented in the Lok Sabha, just 7 lakh out of the 22 crore people in the nation have received jobs. Rigging cases have also frequently surfaced throughout the selection process. We appreciate the central government for providing new jobs to the educated youth in India through the Pakoda scheme, and all of the Sanyukt Rojgar Andolan Samiti’s representatives today expressed the same message by frying pakora. Additionally, it calls for the National Employment Policy to be adopted throughout the nation as quickly as possible so that frying pakora will no longer be the only employment option available for the professional youth of India.”
