John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate has strike gold at the box office. The film which opened to thunderous response on its day 1, saw a big drop on the day 2 but since then it has seen a steady hold at the box office. The film is already a success at the box office and is headed to a healthy extended opening week figures. This is his second success in a row for John Abraham who was riding high on the critical and commercial acclaim for Parmanu – The Story of Pokharan.
Similarly, for Manoj Bajpayee too it has, more or less, been a good year with the blockbuster success of Baaghi 2 behind him. On it’s first Tuesday, which is also is its day 7 as Satyameva Jayate saw a mid-week release, the film made a strong Rs 3.79 crore taking its 7-day total to Rs 64.46 crores. It is to be seen how much distance the film travels in its second week. If it manages to hold well on similar levels than this will surely hit a century at the box office.
