MoS (Home Ministry) Ajay Kumar Mishra said his son, Ashish, didn’t report to police on Friday for questioning in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence as he was unwell.

“He will report tomorrow,” Ajay said, adding that his son is innocent and he has faith in law. Ashish is accused in the case wherein nine people, including four farmers, died.
