Finally after 38 years, of initiating big action both the Center and UP governments have given a ray of hope for justice among the Sikhs

Chandigarh: The President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanykut) and former Union Minister,  Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today expressed his gratitude towards the Modi-led Center and Yogi-led Uttar Pradesh Government for arresting four accused in the 1984 Kanpur Sikh Massacre. Notably, the Center’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) in a joint operation with the UP Police had successfully nabbed the said accused.

Dhindsa thanked Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Sh. Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath for the tremendous action taken against the culprits.
Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has also expressed hope that the Union Government would soon be able to nab the other culprits of the Sikh genocide as well. Dhindsa said that after the arrest of these four accused involved in the 1984 Sikh genocide case, it would not b+he perpetrators of the Sikh genocide, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) President Sukhdev S ingh Dhindsa led by Kuldeep Singh Bhogal and Harpreet Singh Bunny Jolly had not only repeatedly urged the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister to initiate some big action against the accused but has also demanded justice for the Sikhs.

Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa along with his party leaders have been continuously raising their voices against the perpetrators of the Delhi Sikh Genocide and Kanpur Sikh Massacre and demanding rigorous punishment. Meanwhile, Dhindsa has also repeatedly tried to get justice from the previous Center and the State governments as well but unfortunately, no action has been taken by the previous governments at the Center.

It is pertinent to mention here that the present SIT was set up by the Yogi government of UP at the request of Sikh leaders in the Kanpur Sikh massacre case and after 38 years, the Center and the UP government have achieved great success in delivering the justices to the victims.
