Anti- Christian posters unlawfully stamped with the New York City Department of Sanitation logo have been found on trash cans and buildings in the lower east side of Manhattan.
One of the posters’ designs is of a white woman wearing a “Make American Great Again” hat and holding a bible.
The other is of a white man with a MAGA hat, with a Confederate Flat Heart tattoo, holding a drink from Chick-fil-A.
Both are wearing the iconic red cap of President Donald Trump with “Make America Great Again” written on it, and with a “No” symbol over their faces.
All the posters are said to have been put up on Wednesday.
The phrase printed in huge type over the designs on the posters, says, “Keep NYC Trash Free”.
Also, the posters have red ban symbols over the images of the people.
Following statement was released by the NYC Department of Sanitation, “These posters were not created or issued by the Department of Sanitation, and we do not condone unlawful defacement of City litter baskets or public property. We are looking into this matter.”
NYC calls for the removal of “trash” which depicts Christians and Trump supporters.
The designs were reportedly made by the University of California at Berkeley graduate Winston Tseng.
Tseng told that he would only “Let the poster speak for itself.”
