One-year-old twin Israeli girls who were born conjoined at the head with their backs to each other saw each other for the first time on Sunday, after undergoing rare 12-hour-long separation surgery.
The girls, who haven’t been named yet, are recovering well from the surgery, a doctor said. The surgery has been conducted only 20 times worldwide, said another doctor.
