Veteran actor and writer Kader Khan have passed away due to prolonged illness at the age of 81.
The actor took his last breathed on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time.
Khan was put on a ventilator following breathlessness.
Born in Kabul, Kader Khan made his acting debut in 1973.
Khan acted in several hit films including Khoon Bhari Maang, Biwi Ho Toh Aise, Judwaa and Dulhe Raja.
The actor was admitted to a hospital in Canada and his son, Sarfaraz confirmed that his last rites will be conducted in Canada.
Bollywood industry tweeted condolences for the veteran actor.
