Fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya has made an application seeking £758,000 (7.8 crore) from the court funds office in London to pay his lawyers in India.

Mallya’s barrister Philip Marshall said he’s unable to pay them himself because his assets have been frozen amid the ongoing bankruptcy proceedings. In February, Mallya was granted access to around £1.1 million of court-held funds.
