Her forthcoming film Helicopter Eela is already receiving rave reviews after the trailer release, courtesy, the unconventional role played by Kajol. The actress, who is known for versatility, has slipped into the role of a single mother for this film. Furthermore, she will also be seen completing her education and will be going back to college. Interesting, isn’t it? And now currently in the midst of promotions, when Kajol was a part of the reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz, she was asked who from B-town will she be interesting in becoming classmates with.
Kajol will be seen in the role of a single mother who is going back to school after being persuaded by her teenage son played by National Award winning Bengali actor Riddhi Sen. The actress, during the promotions of Helicopter Eela at the talent hunt reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz, was asked who would she like to choose as her classmates. Her answer definitely wasn’t surprising since she chose her actor-hubby Ajay Devgn who incidentally is also the producer of Helicopter Eela and her superstar-bestie Shah Rukh Khan. The actress went on to reason that she chose them because they would be backbenchers like her and also that they would indulge in a lot of ‘masti’ [fun]. On the other hand, there was an interesting response she shared further. As per reports, Kajol did not want Aamir Khan in the class. Everyone is aware of Aamir’s disciplined and perfectionist nature.
Keeping in mind the same, Kajol believes that the Dangal actor will be the teacher’s pet and also that he would be abiding by rules. She thinks that Aamir would complain to the teacher about her mischiefs if he is in the same class with her. Speaking of Helicopter Eela, the film is an adaptation of the Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo and is directed by Pradeep Sarkar. Also starring Tota Roy Chowdhury, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Rishi amongst others, the film is slated to release on September 7.
