Patiala 4th February: World Cancer Day was today celebrated under the theme ‘I Am and I Will’ jointly by Aryans Institute of Nursing and Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura. Students of GNM, ANM, B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy participated in various activities.
Students organized various activities including poster making, face painting, Debate competition, Role Play followed by a seminar to raise awareness of cancer and encourage its prevention, detection and treatment among the students.

Dr. Garima Thakur, Coordinator, Aryans Group addressed and motivated the students to take a positive and proactive approach to fight against cancer.
The purpose of the activity was to create awareness among the students regarding the importance of preventive measures and early diagnosis to beat the menace at the initial stages.
