Patiala: School of Law of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University organised a function to commemorate the 70th Constitution Day. Dr. Amita Kaushal, Head, Department of Law, Punjabi University and Dr. Monika Ahuja, Associate Professor, Punjabi University specially addressed the law students on this occasion. Dr. Kaushal exquisitely summed up the constitutional mandates and elaborated the importance of constitutional aspects. Dr. Amita administered the pledge of abiding by the Constitution of India to the audience present during the event. Dr. Monika further highlighted the importance of Article 21 of Indian Constitution.
Vice Chancellor, Dr. Prit Pal Singh, congratulated the Department for organising this function on Constitution day and also motivated the students to follow the sacred ‘tenets of equality’ enshrined in the Indian constitution. Dr. R.K. Sharma, Head, University School of Law and Convener of the event, explored the basic structural aspects of the Constitution. Dr. Sunaina, In-charge, Schoool of Law and Co-ordinator of the event, presented vote of thanks at the end.
