Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today extended warm greetings to the people of Punjab on the eve of ‘Kabir Jayanti’ and exhorted them to follow the teachings of great saint of ‘Bhakti Movement’ who preached the message of oneness of God, love, peace and universal brotherhood.

In his message, the Chief Minister described Bhagat Kabir ji as an exponent of Bhakti Movement and a spiritual poet whose hymns and shalokas in holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib would ever inspire the mankind to lead a happy life of purity, righteousness and contentment by following a path of divinity and morality thereby rising above the parochial barriers of caste, colour, creed and religion.
