Patiala, DAV Bhupindra Road, Alumni Body organized a Cricket Match on 16th Feb, 2020 at the recently acquired new site of the school at Bhadson Road, Patiala. The body enthusiastically mobilized the alumni participants (1994-2015), their family members and staff of the school. Two teams were owned by Mrs. Neera Khurana, facilitator Alumni Body and Mr. Priptal Singh Alumnus and faculty Sports Department of the school. Principal Vivek Tiwari and Mrs. Anu Tiwari were honoured by Captains Mr. Harinder Pal Tohra & Mr. Rohit Gupta.

The match was inaugurated by Principal Vivek Tiwari by playing the first ball of the game then he declared the match open. The 20 Overs Match was keenly contested in which Tohra’s team batting first made 149 runs. Rohit’s team chased the score in 19.3 overs. Mr. Gitish Singla covered the event by putting in special efforts of videography. Principal Mr. Vivek Tiwari awarded the team owner and the entire team. They displayed their trophy and medals with joy and pride. Mr. Tiwari lauded the initiative taken by DAV Alumni and motivated them to make it a regular event.
