Earlier today, the twitter handle of SikhPressAssociation posted that the 1984SikhGenocide.org website has been banned on Twitter.

1984SikhGenocide.org website is run by Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), an organization based out of the United States that is looking to hold a referendum in 2020 to obtain the independence of Punjab from India.

Sikhs For Justice are aware of the ban imposed by the Twitter.

“We’ve been made aware a Sikh website on #1984SikhGenocide has been blocked by Twitter,” said SFJ.

However, they are not known to the reasons behind it.

Several SFJ pages have been banned on Facebook also.

The 34th anniversary of the 1984 Sikh Genocide will be marked this year.

Thousands of Sikhs were massacred during the government-sponsored massacres of Sikhs in New Delhi, the capital of India, and other cities across India.

“Yes, It’s a Genocide” campaign had been launched by Sikhs For Justice to bring awareness of the anti-Sikh pogroms.

As per reports from the Google site, the 1984SikhGenocide website is safe for browsing.
