Chandigarh, April 17 :In view of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s appeal to donate generously towards CM COVID Relief Fund, the Milkfed has donated a sum of Rs. 20.34 lakh to help the state in its battle against deadly corona virus.

Disclosing this here today, the Cooperation Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that Rs. 51,000 had been donated by Chairman Milked Captain Harminder Singh while Rs. 19,83,850 (19.81 lac) through seven day’s salary of MD Kamaldeep Singh Sangha and one day salary of employees of the Milkfed.

The Minister thanked all the officers/officials including Chairman and MD of Milkfed for donating their one day’s salary voluntarily for a noble cause in this difficult time. S. Randhawa also lauded efforts of MIlkfed to provide hassle free and smoothly Milk and other essential dairy products to the citizens of the state in Curfew/Lockdown period.
