A driver of a government ambulance was suspended for leaving a COVID-19 patient’s body on the road in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district.

The deceased’s wife had asked the driver to drop the body at their village outskirts due to their financial status, as per reports. The incident took place after the doctors at a hospital declared the victim brought dead.
