NAUSHERA. June 21: Yoga is a systematic practice of physical exercise, breath control, relaxation, diet control, positive thinking, and meditation aimed at developing harmony in the body, mind, and environment. The practice entails low-impact physical activity, postures (Asanas), breathing techniques (Pranayama), and relaxation meditation.

The 10th International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually on 21 June. It aims to educate pupils regarding the benefits of yoga and its importance to keep a healthy mind and body by celebrating the day. A session was organized by Lieutenant Ramandeep Singh, Adjutant, Kalsiyan Battalion (1/11 GORKHA RIFLES) at both Base and Tactical Headquarters with attendance of 120 serving & civilians nearby villages.
