Due to this change, DGP Punjab Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota AIGCI Rajinder Singh Sohal and Commandant PAP Jalandhar Upinderjit Singh Ghumman has been removed and Batala Senior Police Captain Sukhwinder Singh Bhullar has been appointed as a member.

As per the orders issued by the DGP, the command of this seat investigating the cases of indecency has been transferred to the IG. Surinderpal Singh Parmar will be in charge and DSP Lakhveer Singh and Inspector Dalbir Singh will remain SIT members.
