New Delhi: Farmers are observing national-wide “Betrayal Day” on today. Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait announced country-wide observance of “Betrayal Day” on Sunday. He announced to observe “Betrayal Day” on his an official twitter account. In his tweet, he said that government did not fulfill the promises which they made to the farmers who were protesting in Delhi.

Rakesh Tikait further said that farmers withdrew their protest because center government made promises. According to the information, Government sent to a letter on 9 December 2021; where they were agree with all farmers’ promises. Whereas, promises are pending which were not fulfill by government.
