An official of Haryana’sn Hisar Municipal Corporation, who had performed the last rites for over 300 COVID-19 victims ever since the outbreak started, died on Monday due to the virus.

Praveen Kumar, 43, was the head of the team formed to cremate the bodies of COVID-19 patients. Kumar died two days after testing positive for COVID-19, said an official.
