More than 1,000 drunken men of an Indian tobacco company turned ferocious, infuriating dozens of Australian families and compelling Royal Caribbean International to apologize to troubled passengers and issue mass refunds.
According to news reports, scantily clad women and burlesque dancers dressed as “Playboy Bunnies” were brought on board by the drunken men, who were dressed as “Pirates of the Royal Caribbean”.
This drove the Indians into hysteria as they hit the main deck with the dancers.
Recollecting the terrors, Australian women claimed that the Indian employees were capturing them with their smartphones.
A woman onboard said, “It is hard to forget after seeing all the flashbacks of these men around all the time, 24 hours a day like we could not escape.”
“It was crazy … little Playboy bunny outfits, you know this is a family boat,” said Christine Weyling, who was on board and from the state of New South Wales in Australia.
As the majority of partying workers were interested in the poolside show, many other games were cancelled.
In September, the Pan Masala Company booked over one-third of the ship.
To ensure that such incidents do not happen again, Royal Caribbean International has launched an investigation.
The distraught passengers were given full refunds.
