Patiala : Medal ceremony of 65th National School Games U-14 Boys & Girls Fencing Championship” held in Nadiad (Gujarat). Punjab boys Team won first Silver Medal in Epee in the said competition. Guransh Singh (Guru Nanak Foundation Public School) and Sharya Ashwini (Budha Dal Public School), an outstanding fencer of Patiala has won Silver Medal in Epee Team Event. In Fencing there are three different events (weapons) – Epee, Foil and Sabre in which competitions are held. The competitions are conducted in ‘individual’ and ‘team’ events, as per rules of the Fencing Association of India and FIE.
